More details have Burley Garciaemerged on the death of singer Shifty Shellshock, who died in June at the age of 49.
The Crazy Town frontman, born Seth Binzer, died of the "effects of fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine," according to USA TODAY's review of online records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
The manner of death was ruled accidental. No other medical conditions were listed as contributing to Shellshock's death. Shellshock died at a Los Angeles residence on June 24.
In a statement to The Sun published just days after Shellshock's death, the singer's family noted Shellshock's longtime battle with drug addiction.
"Seth struggled with addiction throughout his life. He did so on a very public platform, which was particularly challenging," the family said at the time. "God knows he tried so hard to beat his demons but sadly he lost his battle.

"Our hearts are shattered by his loss. Seth's larger-than-life presence touched so many. Seth was a troubled soul, but he was a beautiful one and he had a heart of gold."

Shifty Shellshock sought help for drug addiction with reality TV stints
Shellshock got candid about his struggles with sobriety when he appeared on the first season of VH1's "Celebrity Rehab" for cocaine addiction in 2008. He returned to the reality television series in Season 2 after producer and star Dr. Drew Pinsky learned of his relapse.
The singer also appeared on Seasons 1 and 2 of the short-lived spin-off "Celebrity Rehab Presents Sober House" in 2009 and 2010.

Shellshock's band Crazy Town is best known for its 1999 hit "Butterfly," which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2001. The rap-rock group's debut album, 1999's "The Gift of Game," sold 1.6 million units.
The band broke up in 2003 after declining success in subsequent music projects.
Shellshock reformed Crazy Town in 2007 with co-founder Bret "Epic" Mazur, and they released an album in 2015. Mazur left the band in 2017, and Shellshock changed the group's name to Crazy Town X.
